An effort to restore native plants to Riverfront Park will take place on Wednesday, August 23rd beginning at 10 am. A coordinator from the John James Audubon Society is seeking volunteers to assist with their effort.

A Riparian buffer restoration project will be held at Riverfront Park, Norristown, PA this Wednesday, August 23rd at 10am – 4pm. This project consists of establishing native plants that includes shrubs, grasses, and perennials along the river bank to protect water quality of Schuylkill River and provide wildlife habitat. Volunteers are welcome to take part on beautifying Riverfront Park. Please reach out to the coordinator, Ngoc Kim, at nkim@audubon.org for more information.
