The Montgomery County Health Department is proposing adult mosquito spraying for Norristown on Thursday, August 17th at 8:15 PM.

The Montgomery County Health Dept.(MCHD) is proposing  adult mosquito control within the highlighted areas of the map, due to West Nile Virus positive mosquito collections in the area.  The spraying will take place on Thursday, August 17,  2017 with a Thursday, August 24,  rain date.  The application will begin at approx. 8:15PM and will end at approx. 10:00PM.  All spraying will be performed by MCHD personnel using an ATV mounted ULV sprayer.  Individuals listed in the Pesticide Hypersensitivity Registry and Registered Apiaries within 500 feet of the spray area will be notified by MCHD. The product we will be applying is Duet.

MCHD would also like to perform a day-time barrier treatment at the same area (Bartasch Park) on Thursday 8/17/2017 between the hours of 10:00AM and 2:00PM.  The rain date for that treatment would be Friday 8/18/2017.   The product we will be applying is Flit 10ec.
