When you are from out of town (or a local) and want an amazing example of an authentic Philly chessesteak sandwich, this is the place! Fantastic service, no frills kind of place! -Ann, Bellington, WA

Alfredo’s Restaurant

1132 W. Main Street | (610) 277-1529

Classic home-style restaurant. I came here for breakfast/brunch and ordered eggs benedict. The hollandaise sauce on it was to dieee for! The yolk in the egg wasn’t running as much as I would have liked but I still well-enjoyed my breakfast. Bonus is that they keep the portions large and the costs low without compromising the quality of the food. -Mia, Syosset, NY

Almaz Cafe

24 W. Main Street | (484) 704-7251

Just left and had the” Doro Wot (Chicken Stew)”. It was delicious! I will definitely be back to this location. They have a few big screen TVs. The bartender Tony is a pretty friend;y guy.  They are going to start having a lunch time buffet with a mix of Ethiopian and American food. Definitely check it out if you are in the area. – Robert, Norristown, PA

Banh Mi Bar & Bistro

31 W. Main Street | (610) 239-1008

Rating: 4/5 stars, 104 reviews

Came here for lunch with 2 of my co-workers. Beautiful place! Great atmosphere! Great staff. I had the pork bahn Mi sandwich and my coworkers had the shrimp taco and the steak taco. All the plates were empty. Nothing left over. Delicious!! Prices are also reasonable. The  green decor goes nicely with the brown tables and just makes you feel relaxed. Especially during training for work lol. I will definitely be coming back again. Didn’t get my waiters name, but he was very attentive and answered any question I had about the menu. No lemon for the water, but he gave us lime (I’ve never had lime water) and it was great! No complaints here!! -Brittany, Chicago, IL

August Moon

300 E. Main Street | (610) 277-4008

Rating: 4/5 stars, 46 reviews

A hidden gem located in Norristown, PA.  The salmon sundae (a special – not on the menu) are pretty much one of the greatest things I have ever eaten.  The sundae is a martini glass filled with your choice of either salmon or tuna, topped with avocado, special sauce and roe. It is delicious! I also enjoy the deluxe sushi rolls – the portions are generous.

Service here is great!!!  April is very prompt and if you come here a lot she remembers your favorites. I don’t live in the area anymore and she still remembers what I like! -Courtney, Orange, CA

So tell us in the comment section below what is your favorite restaurant in Norristown. Also, if you’ve visited any of these restaurants or any other restaurant in Norristown, it is important that you give them your review online. This helps outsiders pick a location for their family to visit. If there are little/no reviews, they will be missed. More reviews, pictures and comments gives our businesses free advertising…which is needed in 2016. I also encourage businesses on this list to continue to ask regular patrons to review their business online.
